• In 2011, four like-minded individuals formed Utah Patriot Camp, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating children about the founding of our country in a fun camp setting. Kids have fun while they learn, developing an interest in our history and love for America. For a huge portion of our youth, true US history is lacking--particularly when it comes to the principles upon which this country was founded. We are dedicated to educating, enlightening, and exciting the youth in our community as to the fundamental principles and beliefs which make this country exceptional. Our goal is to empower them with knowledge and a will to preserve these ideas, as well as the future liberty of their communities. There are only so many hours in the day, and teachers are limited by their approved history curriculum. Patriot Camp involves everyone--kids, parents, and the community--coming together for the common goal of educating ourselves and our children about our great nation. The camp will is run by a Director and volunteers with a strong desire to rekindle a sense of patriotism and respect for the founding of our country. Many of the volunteers have children or grandchildren attending the camp. The curriculum is for all ages, although the activities and crafts are geared toward elementary-aged students (1st-6th grade).
