• The Institute for Trafficked, Exploited & Missing Persons (ITEMP) is an international organization dedicated to ending modern slavery and human trafficking through public awareness, research, and direct intervention. ITEMP researches and advocates for positive government intervention towards preventing the causes of, and assisting the victims of, human trafficking. ITEMP also works to detect, investigate, rescue, and rehabilitate victims of human trafficking. The Institute for Trafficked, Exploited & Missing Persons (ITEMP) is a borderless sub-program of The GOD'S CHILD Proejct, a non-denominational, non-political international charity. ITEMP operates in conjunction with national governments and international law enforcement agencies to prevent, interdict, rescue, and recover victims of human trafficking. Both programs are internationally based in Antigua Guatemala and Bismarck, North Dakota. The GOD'S CHILD Project cares for and educates 5,000 orphaned, abandoned, and poverty-stricken boys and girls in Africa, Central America, and the United States, in addition to providing education, health, and community-based services for 8,700 widowed, abandoned, and single mothers and their dependents.
