Lucas specifically has been spotlighted in national press including Vibe Magazine, which included him in their Major Player in the Game focus in 2001 and a member of the Sources Top Power 30 consecutively for the last four years.When asked for his plans for the label within the next few years Lucas stated: I would like to take Slip-N-Slide to a new level and become one of the major Record Labels in the Music Business, similar to Interscope Records.
