• The N9NE Group was founded in 1999 as a partnership between pioneering entertainment entrepreneurs Michael Morton and Scott DeGraff, friends since the age of nine. Son of legendary restaurateur Arnold Arnie Morton, Morton grew up in the restaurant business, while DeGraff became a real estate attorney, while retaining his passion for great food and entertainment. The childhood friends collaboration began in 1992, when they opened drink. . .and eat too! Chicago, a nightclub that immediately became one of the Windy Citys most popular. In 1995 the duo brought drink. . .and eat too! to Las Vegas, confident the concept would successfully transfer to the desert, featuring a retractable roof for open air concerts under the stars. In 1997, drink Chicago relocated 3 blocks west, reincarnating itself into a stunning 25,000 sq. ft. facility. The new location garnered great acclaim and became a renowned restaurant, nightclub and intimate concert facility. Morton & DeGraffs flagship N9NE Steakhouse debuted in Chicago in 2000 with the flagship ghostbar located one floor above the steakhouse. In 2005, Morton and DeGraff went back to the desert to open facilities in the Palms Hotel & Casino. N9NE Group Las Vegas was born, transferring the Chicago concepts to Las Vegas and expanding further to include N9NE Steakhouse, ghostbar, Rain Nightclub, Nove Italiano Ristorante, Moon Nighclub, The Playboy Club and the Palm Pool & Cabanas.
