- The Digital Advertising Alliance is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing Interest-based advertising as an evolutionary force that provides value to brands, businesses and most importantly, consumers. DAA leads an industry-wide self-regulatory effort to provide Internet users with choice and control over how and whether they receive interest-based advertising online, coordinating with global partners throughout the advertising community. DAA educates people about how advertisers generate interest-based ads, and operates a free, enforceable opt-out tool that gives users the power to dictate their ad preferences. DAA is a consortium of the 4As, the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI).
