- I have been a self-employed musician and teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 25 years. I've performed at the Stanford University Jazz Workshop concert series, San Jose Jazz Festival, Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, Russian River Jazz Festival, Breckenridge, Colorado Music Festival, Greenfield, Massachusetts Green River Festival, the Britt Music Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon, Villa Montalvo Concert Series in Sunnyvale, California as well as the NPR series Riverwalk Live From the Landing and collaboration with jazz poet David Meltzer at the 50th anniversary of the publication of Allen Ginzburg's Howl at the San Francisco Library. Recordings include Cats to Corelli with San Francisco Symphony members, Dennis Finigan's Starting From Here, Cathi Walkup's Living in a Daydream, Trio de Swing and Paul Dorr and John Clark. I have taught guitar, electric bass and upright bass at the Stanford University Jazz Workshop, the San Francisco Community Music Center and Bronstein Music in South San Francisco. I have also played countless local gigs in the Bay Area and have helped hundreds of students. Many have gone on to professional and semi-professional careers.
