• Northwest Human Services has been providing residents of Marion and Polk counties with comprehensive medical, dental, mental health and social services for over 45 years. Our programs are integrated and designed to maximize support for those in our community who need it most - the homeless, low income families, uninsured individuals, and migrant workers. We offer medical, dental and mental health services on a sliding fee scale based on family size and income. No one is turned away due to their inability to pay. Homeless youth and adults at our HOST and HOAP Programs access basic needs services, case management, peer support, and health care at our Community Health Centers. Our Crisis & Information Hotline provides 24 hour crisis support and suicide intervention as well as limited emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, and prescription medications. Our Vision: As long as there is a need, Northwest Human Services will continue to be a safety net providing health care and social services in our community.Why NWHS? Employees are treated to annual holiday celebrations, summertime picnics and many other events recognizing their handwork and dedication to our mission. Our leadership team and Board of Directors support our staff as we continue to grow and expand our programs and community offerings. Northwest Human Services has been serving residents of the Willamette Valley since 1971. Programs include the West Salem and Total Health Community Clinics, West Salem Mental Health Clinic, West Salem Dental Clinic, the Homeless Outreach and Advocacy Project (HOAP), HOST Youth & Family Program, and our Crisis & Information Hotline as well as in house Billing, IT , Facilities Maintenance and Administrative departments to ensure that these programs operate efficiently.
