• Certified Parts Corporation (CPC) was founded in 1976 by James Grafft to meet thegrowing demand for obsolete replacement parts for outdoor recreational equipment.CPC strives to maintain hard-to-find New-Old replacement parts for out of productionrecreational vehicles such as snowmobiles, personal watercrafts, go-karts, mini cyclesand more.In 2009, CPC purchased certain assets of TecumsehPower Companys enginebusiness, including manufacturing equipment and dies along with their parts inventory.Lauson Power Products, LLC was established to manage this part of the business andbring back the historical name of the engine line dating back to 1895. This was followedlater that year with the acquisition of certain assets of Comet drives and Hoffco outdoorpower equipment, again, along with their parts inventory. CPC is now the original partssource for these well-known brands.In 2010, Lauson Power Products, LLC entered into an agreement with LiquidCombustion Technologies (LCT) for the manufacture, sale and service support ofLauson, Snow King and LCT branded engines. This partnership effectively reintroducesthe Snow King and Lauson brands to the marketplace. The distributor anddealer network in place under TecumsehPower will provide service for all three brandsof engines.
