• Cape Fear Respicare, Inc. was founded in December 1996 with dedication to patient care and the motivation to make a small yet significant difference. We have are local company with 10 employees, 2 being Respiratory Therapists. We have an in-house billing department and offer free delivery. We cover New Hanover and 8 surrounding counties. We accept most private insurances, Medicare, and NC Medicaid and We also accept Mastercard and Visa. We work with a variety of vendors and have a wide variety of inventory. Our dedication to education has earned us a reputation that stands out in the community as the company to call for in-services and re-education for employee training for many nursing agencies. We believe in independence and the ability to care for oneself in their own home, and we strive to make that a reality through empowerment, education, teamwork and the support of nursing agencies as liasons in the home. We work with Physicial Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Case Managers, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practioneers and Family Practice and Specialized Physicians. Our goal is to deliver and instruct home medical equipment of the highest quality. We educate and instruct the family, caregivers and patients about the operation, maintenence, and safety issues of all equipment. We stress proper RX, infection control, and compliance issues and assure a support network is available. We are available 24/7 on call, our office is open Monday-Friday 8AM-6PM.
