• MagCanica, Inc., a product-focused technology company formed in early 2000 with offices in San Diego, CA and Pittsfield, MA is actively seeking new members to join our engineering team as we expect continued growth during 2014 and beyond. Since the Companys inception, MagCanica has focused its efforts on the development and commercialization of its non-contact torque (TRQ) and rate-of-change-of-torque (ROC) sensor systems for high performance powertrains across the motorsport, aerospace, and energy sectors. MagCanica is the global market leader in motorsport torque sensing and powertrain performance monitoring across a variety of automotive racing series including Formula 1, IndyCar, Australian V8 Supercars, and LeMans. Additionally, MagCanica provides hardware, support services, and technology to the US Navy, US Army, US Air Force, and US Department of Energy as well as Sikorsky, Honeywell, GE Aviation and GE Oil & Gas. With world-renowned inventor Ivan J. Garshelis leading MagCanicas technology development, MagCanica continues to push the boundaries of non-contact magnetically based sensors and associated performance and condition monitoring systems for high performance rotating machinery such as racecar engines and transmissions, helicopter engines and transmissions, oil-and-gas compression trains, and power generation trains. Leveraging its existing torque and ROC product lines, MagCanica is poised to expand in both its existing markets and into new markets such as high performance sports cars and electric motors.
