• Our primary business is providing nationally accredited emergency training, and implementing and managing AED Programs. The organizations mission to improve survival from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) was established in the mid-1980s, and was based on decades of clinical experience with SCAs, and significant participation in SCA and educational research. Our staff has been providing innovative AED Program Management solutions and emergency medical training solutions since the late 80s. These innovations include implementing the first public sector AED Program for non-healthcare providers in the U.S. at the San Francisco Fire Department in 1988 as well as implementing the first corporate-based AED Program in the U.S. at Candlestick Park in 1989. We have revolutionized emergency medical training by developing innovative training programs that maximize trainees learning potential and retention. In 1999, we developed and implemented the first online device-specific AED and CPR training programs and launched the first blended emergency response training programs in 2001. We also revolutionized the industry by developing the first electronic AED Program Management tool in 2002. Over the past 15 years, EU has provided AED Program and Training expertise to hundreds of PAD Programs nationwide including agencies of the federal government, Fortune 500 companies, schools and nonprofit organizations including the Federal Aviation Administration, the U.S. Department of Treasury, Zynga, Procter & Gamble, CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern Railroad, Levi Strauss, Cisco Systems Global, Transocean, Juniper Networks, all who are current clients.The clients of our AED Program have achieved a 100% response to all SCAs in the workplace, while the nationwide average for response rate in public access defibrillation programs is reported as 2-10%. Our solutions are unique and it is our unique approach that allows our clients to be successful, when others are not.
