    • The Co-Op is a boutique, full-service, 360-degree Buzz Marketing and Public Relations Agency. We aim to help our clients grow by generating, or in some instances, regenerating brand buzz. The Co-Op's mission is to strategically help brands build awareness and exposure via comprehensive, strategic and creative PR programs. We pride ourselves on being extensions of our clients marketing teams. PR can be so much more than just a one-time media placement; it can be an invaluable sales tool for a company. As a team, we think with an in-house hat on (seeing the business beyond just PR) and execute with an agency hat on (leveraging our staff, network and resources). Headquartered in Los Angeles, the founders and its staff represent the best of both worlds, the perfect merger of brand and agency. This makes sense since founders and partners, Lara Bandler and Mike McGuiness met when Bandler ran the Entertainment PR division of glaceau vitaminwater and hired McGuiness' former agency to service the brands. Having seen how much further efforts could go with the management of someone as methodical as a top-level PR Director paired with a savvy and connected agency, the two long ago conceptualized what would later become The Co-Op.
