- Rochester Mills Beer Co., founded in 1998, is a brewpub located in the historic Western Knitting Mill in Downtown Rochester, MI. Our founder, Mike Plesz, made it a point to preserve the original character of the building. We feature original hardwood floors, columns, beams and exposed brick walls from this building built in the early 1800's. As the largest brewpub in Michigan, with over 750,000 patrons annually, word got out about these handcrafted ales and lagers. In 2012, we gave the people what they wanted, opening up the Rochester Mills Production Brewery in Auburn Hills, MI. In this 48,000 sq. ft facility, were looking toward the future with world class beers such as the Milkshake Stout and Pine Knob Pilsner, as well as our other 20+ handcrafted ales and lagers. We distribute into Michigan, Ohio, and Florida with more states on the horizon. Cheers!
