    Description

    • The Cashiers Village Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit subsidiary of the Village Conservancy, Inc. The Council was founded in 2009 as a direct result of the 2008 Mountain Landscapes Initiative. As Cashiers remains unincorporated, the Council was established to (1) act as the meeting place for existing area non-profits and (2) lead community-inspired improvement projects.The Council has the following as its current priority work areas: Pathways, Streetscape Beautification, Transportation Planning, Water & Sewer Utility Planning, Housing Diversity, and Vernacular Design Preservation.The Council is fully funded by the generosity of local supporters, private financial contributions, and grants.
