We have been working on a new project for over a year. We have a Patent Pending status with the U.S. Patent office on the Refrigerant Relief Valve Monitoring and Reporting System. This is a standalone system that monitors all vessels and relief valves in a refrigeration system. We have worked with a number of Production Facilities that have ammonia refrigeration systems in them. If something malfunctions in the refrigeration system that could cause an ammonia release through high pressure relief valves, this system would be beneficial.Prevention of an ammonia release is our primary goal with this system, however if a release of ammonia does occur, this system is designed to provide the facility with pertinent information necessary to comply with the E.P.A.s reporting obligation.
