• Dream Channel is a social game platform / location based entertainment network with an over arching 'meta' narrative. The platform allows players to add locations and talent to a map that then acts as a game layer over real world locations. At each location videos and talent battle each other for ownership of that location. For 'hot' locations advertisers bid to offer cash and prizes for the most popular stars. At the user level a 'recommendation engine' allows 'players' to generate a community run profile for any talent they have discovered or like and then add them to a specific location. Others can then add videos, content and commets to this profile. At the top level The Dream Channel is divided into a series of genre based layers or channels. eg action sports, music, fashion, food etc. Each genre has a local and global ranking system for the talent that the community recommends. Promotion and relegation is based on a trending algorithm. Players who discover talent who then become successful (ie they get sponsored etc) receive rewards and are promoted to Mangers.. Talent who win locations or who achieve a certain ranking are promoted to 'Pro' status. Integrated into The Dream Channel is an over arching 'meta' narrative story layer. Here actors / talent audition to be characters in an audience driven story by uploading their profiles from certain locations. Audiences elect the characters they like most who then become part of the main story narrative.
