• Find Your Power is a start-up profit that aims to expand access to the internet for underrepresented women worldwide, connecting them to resources for education, advocacy, community, and employment. Why the internet? Because women are 50% less likely than men to be connected, meaning they are missing out on the myriad of opportunities and socio-economic benefits that the internet provides! Find Your Power strives to tackle this digital gender divide, and enable women to fully access and utilize the internet for their own personal, professional, and financial advancement. We are doing this in three ways. FIRST, by creating an accessible internet platform, Find Your Power will provide women with relevant content and services delivered in a way that is simple, straightforward, and easy to use. This Google for Women will be a trusted source for resources on education, health, mentorship, employment, housing, safety, business training, inspiration, nonprofit, service, and community organizations. SECOND, Find Your Power will engage local women in positions to enhance digital skills and education among their peers. AND THIRD, we are are establishing strategic partnerships to provide goods and services which improve internet access and affordability for women. As Terry Tempest Williams wrote, When women suffer, children suffer. To empower women is to empower a community. And that is precisely what Find Your Power aims to do.
