• James Alpha Advisors serves as the Advisor to the James Alpha family of mutual funds and related portfolios. We are a related entity to James Alpha Management, a family office and leader in the marketplace of emerging alternative fund managers. We specialize in identifying, seeding, and growing an innovative lineup of alternative investment solutions for institutional and individual investors. We do this by objectively identifying outstanding early-stage alternative investment managers, make a significant investment, and grow the business by providing marketing, distribution, and operational support so our managers can do what they do best manage their portfolios. We believe that our extensive investment and management expertise enables us to identify the managers most likely to outperform, while our sales and distribution capabilities and operational and strategic guidance facilitate growth and promote an environment in which the investment teams can do their best work for clients. Fundamentally, we seek managers and teams with a proven track record of success and well-defined investment edge. We also have a strong bias for hedge fund strategies investing in liquid public markets and are extremely skeptical of illiquid and over-the-counter markets.
