She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland, in 1987 and a Masters of Science degree from Eastern University, St. Davids, Pennsylvania in 2005. Since 1988, she has managed large to small events in the private, non-profit, and for-profit sectors, which led her to begin her own event planning business.K has earned certification as an International Event and Wedding Planning Professional (IEWP), from the QC School of Event Planning. This distinction places her in an elite group of qualified and highly trained professionals in the event planning field. During her training, she received (2) merit awards for superior excellence in demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in the areas of event and wedding planning.K is also a member of the International Special Events Society (ISES)/New Jersey South Chapter, which is comprised of over 7,200 professionals in over 38 countries representing event planners, producers, caterers, decorators, audio-video technicians, and many more professional disciplines.
