Description

The mission of Movement Day Greater Dallas (MDGD) is to unite the body of Christ around a common purpose in order to achieve measurable progress against the greatest spiritual, social, and humanitarian challenges facing the city. MDGD is an extension of Movement Day in New York City, established by Dr. Mac Pier, Founder and CEO of The New York City Leadership Center and Dr. Tim Keller, Senior Pastor, Redeemer Presbyterian Church. The New York event is held every October and hosts leaders from around the world. The strategy is to identify like-minded Dallas leaders who desire to design, mobilize and invest in a long - term strategy that will impact Greater Dallas with the gospel of Christ. The result will be the creation of specific plans to accelerate or incubate best practices to address the issues facing the city and to serve as the focus of the combined efforts of hundreds of organizations throughout Greater Dallas. As the first successful replication of Movement Day New York City, MDGD will also serve as a model and catalyst for gospel movements worldwide.
