Dalbavancin is a second generation, semi-synthetic lipoglycopeptide designed for once-weekly intravenous dosing which will facilitate the treatment of patients with ABSSSI in both the in-patient and out-patient settings, reducing the length of a patients hospital stay or avoiding hospital admission altogether and ultimately lowering the overall cost of care for these patients.Durata has assembled a premier team of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical executives for the express purpose of acquiring, developing and commercializing novel therapeutics in the hospital and acute care settings, with particular focus on patients with infectious diseases.
