    • Materna is start-up Medical Device company developing a device to prevent the damage women commonly suffer during childbirth. Over 80% of women who deliver vaginally will suffer some degree of tearing, and roughly half of all women will suffer from permanent pelvic muscle damage that will lead to pelvic floor disorders such as incontinence and prolapse later in life.
