• HRC USA was established in 1990 in response to the special demands for high quality reinforcement in the seismic region of California. Being the focus branch of the HRC group, Headed Reinforcement Corp. undertakes most of the testing and certification of new HRC products. Canada: HRC Canada was established in 1992 to serve the Hibernia project in Newfoundland, Canada. In the same period Canada supplied headed bars to the Prince Edward Island Bridge. In the period 2012-2016 HRC Canada produced T-headed bars, mechanical couplers and embedment plates for the HEBRON GBS. HRC Europe, Norway was established in 1979 for supply of friction welded cathodes and anodes to the primary aluminum producers. From 1985 Metalock Industrier / HRC Norway supplied T-Headed bars and mechanical splices/coupler systems to offshore installations in the North Sea. HRC Norway delivers a wide range of headed anchorage bars, mechanical splices, foundation bolts, cast-in-connections and anchorage of bridge guardrails to the Norwegian Railroads and Road works. In addition HRC Europe serves the domestic and European construction industry. HRC Europe also undertakes production set-up in other parts of the world i.e. the Middle East and Russia where the company has supplied mobile production units. HRC Europe, Netherlands HRCs first Dutch project was the COVRA Nuclear waste facility, built by HBG (now BAM) in 2002. HRC Europe opened its Dutch production facility in Lelystad June 2015. Since the start up HRC Europe NL BV has supplied to projects like the A12/A20 Paralellstructuur Gouda, The Isaladelta Kampen, Open IJ and UK residential/ commercial structures. General Information HRC Group Machinery The HRC group is the largest owner of specialized friction welding machinery for production of reinforcement products in the world. This machinery is stored in several countries and can be set-up at customers production site upon request.
