Dr. Lathon served as Nutrition Policy Manager and Lobbyist at the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine where she led a national initiative to improve child nutrition and prevent chronic disease through emphasis on plant-based options in the National School Lunch Program. Dr. Lathon is a health and wellness contributing writer for African American Lifestyle Magazine, and host of an alternative health webcast, Health 365 and the whole foods, vegan cooking show, The Veggie Chest with Dr. Ruby.
