Here is a Match Story:Big Brother Vitor was matched with Little Brother Leo in January 2014. Leo, who was the youngest of three siblings, needed a positive male role model in his life. Rosa, his mother, was worried that Leo was spending too much time with older children and kids at school who were not good influences. Leo lives with his mother at his grandparents house after his parents divorced. Rosa said that the divorce had been hard on Leo and she was afraid of what might happen if Leo did not have a positive male role model. Since they were matched, Vitor and Leo have had many different outings together, including going to the firehouse where Vitor works, playing sports at the park, and eating pizza. As their friendship has grown, Vitor has seen Leo become more open and talkative. Rosa commented that Leo seems a lot calmer and happier, and now he always has something to look forward to.
