• Located in Kansas City, Mo., Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary is the successful result of a merger in 1961 between two small Bible colleges: Kansas City Bible College (KCBC) and Midwest Bible College (MBC) in St. Louis. A second merger took place in 1987 when Citadel Bible College of Ozark, Arkansas, joined Calvary. These mergers represented a blending of institutional objectives, assets and liabilities, alumni associations, and doctrinal goals as well as values that were held in common by all of the institutions. Our mission is to provide education which prepares Christians to live and serve in the church and the world according to a biblical worldview. Educational offerings include traditional two-year associates and four-year bachelors degree programs in Bible, theology, education, music, fine arts, biblical counseling, and other interdisciplinary/professional majors; Seminary and master's degrees in divinity, education, business and organizational development; as well as non-traditional studies for adult students looking to earn a degree.Calvary also is the parent company to 88.5 KLJC, a 100,000 watt, non-commercial, listener-supported, contemporary Christian radio station on the air in Kansas City for 40 years! 88.5 has a very loyal fan base and is connecting with over 100,000 listeners each week.
