- Vet Path Services (VPS) is one of the largest independent contract histopathology corporations in North America. For over a decade, we have provided quality, expert, and timely GLP compliant histology and histopathology services to the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, medical device, consumer product, and CRO industries.Our services include:* Anatomic Pathology* Clinical Pathology (data interpretation)* Peer Review and PWGs* Histology (Paraffin and Plastics)* Necropsy Oversight* ArchivingOur staff consists of 11 board-certified (ACVP) veterinary pathologists, over 20 highly-trained histologists and histology technicians, a dedicated Quality Control (QC) team, and a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) unit, all of whom are committed to quality work, excellent customer service, and meeting demanding timelines.Our secure and purpose-built facilities include 13,300 square feet of office, laboratory, and archive space. Our entire facility is backed-up with a 125 kV Kohler generator, and protected by a full-facility fire suppression system, 24/7-monitored burglar, fire, temperature, and humidity systems, internal and external CCTV systems, and controlled key-card access to all access and archive doors.Through our sister company, VPS Archives, LLC, we offer long-term GLP-compliant archival services for residual wet tissues, paraffin and plastic blocks, microscopic slides, paper and electronic media, and cold/frozen materials such as test article samples. Our archive facility is specifically designed and monitored for secure long-term storage of these materials, and is managed by a staff with over 20 years of experience in GLP-compliant archival storage.
