    • For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation enables cancer patients and their loved ones to strength, unify and deepen their relationships by creating unforgettable and lasting respite vacations. Eligible adult cancer patients, along with their caregivers and children, receive a one-week expense-paid respite vacation to select locations along the East Coast and in the Caribbean. For Petes Sake owns two respite homes near Orlando, Florida and relies on donated vacation homes to supplement additional stays. The lasting memories from their respites help our patients recognize that it is their priceless lives, not cancer, that defines them. We aim to strengthen the hearts, minds, and souls of these courageous individuals as they battle the psychological, emotional, economic, and spiritual trauma that accompanies a cancer diagnosis.
