• Katy Cares is a nonprofit organization founded as a solution-driven response to address immediate needs in The Greater Katy Area. We are committed to providing a home for Katys most vulnerable homeless population, women with children. We are a therapeutic and restorative residence for those willing to enter into a long-term program towards complete self-sustainment. At Katy Cares, we believe healing homelessness begins with the whole person. Success from our program is obtained through rigorous educational advancement, intensive counseling and support groups, personal and spiritual growth and making professional connections in the community. Katy Cares is rooted in compassion, service, and building our community and economy through educational advancement and job skills. We strive for excellence at the core of everything we do which can be seen in our custom plans to build Katys very first home and therapeutic campus for the homeless. We believe resources spent on cultivating hope and skills for the future, giving mothers with children a true hand-up, is the most powerful way to impact our community. By working with 2-3 generations at one time, in one family, we are able to both restore and prevent. Im hopeful for the opportunity we have to positively impact lives right here in in the Greater Katy Area.
