• 4Schoolers is a Boston based company born out of the necessity to coordinate academic and enrichment opportunities for children. 4Schoolers applies the principles of the sharing economy to help families find the right providers and manage their schedules. 4Schoolers is a network of parents who share the tasks of providing safe rides, tutoring, and backup babysitting in a way that fits into their lifestyles most efficiently. By joining our efforts, we are able to create a safe, productive, and nurturing environment for our children. At 4Schoolers, all drivers, caregivers, and educators go through extensive background and reference checks, personal interviews, and training. Parents have the option to monitor their child during the services provided via the 4Schoolers app or a webcam, easing the concern about leaving their child in someone else's care. The majority of service providers are women: mothers, teachers, babysitters. Homework assistance is offered for homework help, extra subject tutoring, as well as standardized test preparation for the SAT, SSAT, and ISEE exams. Tutoring is available in a variety of subjects, including mathematics, reading/composition, chemistry, physics, biology, and foreign languages. This is offered on an individual basis, as well as a group setting. Along with our educational services, 4Schoolers connects you with a network of screened and trained childcare professionals to act as a backup babysitter if ever your regular provider is unavailable. Babysitters are able to accompany your child between school and/or extracurricular activities.
