• Aspen Management Partnership for Health (AMP Health) is a program of The Aspen Institute that was formally launched in September 2015 at the Annual Meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative. A collaboration among multi-sectoral partners, including the private sector, NGOs, donors, and Ministries of Health (MoHs), AMP Health provides in-country managerial and strategic support and expertise to MoHs in an effort to strengthen community health systems and develop the next generation of health leaders in low-and-middle income countries. The program features include (1) a two-year Management Partner (MP) placement within the MoHs community health department, (2) leadership and management training for the MP and MoH counterparts, and (3) technical support from local and global mentorship networks comprised of healthcare and business leaders and experts from the public and private sectors. AMP Health includes a strong emphasis on collaboration and knowledge-sharing across countries and sectors in the form of bi-annual meetings, virtual trainings, and other activities. AMP Healths growing partnership network includes the Aspen Institute, USAID's Center for Accelerating Innovation and Impact, the MDG Health Alliance, GSK, the Margaret A. Cargill Foundation, McCann Health, Harvard School of Public Health, & Partners in Health. Additional global and local partners will be added as the program grows.
