- Established in 2019, we are a nonprofit that works with other professional bakers to donate birthday cakes and cookies to foster children in the Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho region. Grace & Cakes began out of a love for decorating and gifting cake to others. We see first-hand how important a birthday cake is to a child - they feel special, unique, wanted, known, happy, loved. And we have also seen the beauty of gifting a cake to a foster family - it provides everyone in the home with something special and unique - a bond they can all share together as life continually changes for them. We don't believe we are just giving a birthday cake, but in a small way helping provide the most basic of human needs, especially for a child - that of being know and loved.
