• KIPP Philadelphia Schools is a network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public charter schools that is part of a larger national network of 183 schools serving over 70,000 students across 20 states and the District of Columbia. Nationally, 86% of our students qualify for the Federal Meals Program, and 99% are African-American or Hispanic. Despite the fact that our students consistently enter our schools 2-3 grade levels behind, by providing a safe and structured learning environment, more time in school, and high-quality teachers, 100% of our students have been accepted to college-preparatory high schools.Here in Philadelphia, we serve 1,600 students throughout the four schools located in West and North Philadelphia neighborhoods.
