Description

• Considering a career in the trucking industry? Or are you a transportation company looking for trained drivers? Shelly Truck Driving School in York, PA provides 21st century training to future truck drivers. Our rigorous 4-week training program combines 160 hours of classroom, simulator, and behind-the-wheel training from experienced truck driving instructors, who have been in the industry for a combined 75-plus years. With our state-of-the-art driving simulator, students gain confidence in the basics of commercial driving, before they ever step into the cab. Once they are ready, students spend their time developing their yard and road skills. Under direct supervision, they gain experience docking, parking, driving on curves and hills, and navigating the roads and highways of southcentral Pennsylvania. At the end of our truck driving course, our students are prepared to pass the PennDOT Class A CDL examination and to start their career as a commercial driver. And with an over 90% job placement rate for our graduates, the trucking industry agrees. We are certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Educations Private License School Bureau, and we are a certified third-party CDL testing site by PennDOT.
