- End Mass Overdose, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that implements pharmacy-based strategies and solutions to improve access to care and modernize the way public health policy and substance abuse are approached in the United States. Our initiatives are achieved through a four-pillar model: innovation, prevention, intervention, and treatment. Mission To reduce the number of opioid overdoses and substance misuse-related health complications and costs to society. To empower the public with knowledge and build a forward-looking network that engages patients, community, healthcare, legal, and government stakeholders. Our Services Innovation A company of firsts. We pioneered innovative pharmacist partnership models, including a model to reduce fatal opioid overdoses through remote dispensing of naloxone (Narcan) and a model to improve coordination of care through residential medication therapy management. Prevention Comprehensive continuing education & professional development courses Substance Use Disorder and Addiction Medicine clinical training for pharmacists Expert panel discussions, open forums, public awareness events Intervention Community opioid overdose education and Narcan training Skills-based Narcan training and certificate programs for professionals working with at-risk populations, including Train the Trainer Course Narcan rescue kit distribution Treatment Substance Use Disorder Pharmacy Program - addiction medicine consultation and pharmacy services for residential treatment facilities, including medication reconciliation, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), compliance monitoring and non-adherence root cause analysis of behavior Drug protocol, policy and procedure development and systems analysis Medication dispensing and delivery services
