When The Dispatch Printing Company launched its first glossy magazine, Capital Style, it appointed her editor of the publication, which eventually was named best magazine in Ohio. Kristy also wrote for The State Journal-Register in Springfield, Ill. and The Daily Sentinel in Grand Junction, Colo. She has a masters degree in Public Affairs Reporting and bachelors degree in English/Journalism.
