• The IISOH is a Pennsylvania non-profit educational, literary and research corporation under section 501(c)3 of the IRS Code and is organized to operate a Library and Museum for the History of Sport, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance, Sport in Art and the Olympic Games. The Institute plans to develop a large sports-oriented campus in central Pennsylvania and to raise an endowment of $300 million. One project that has started is a poster series to promote that specific sport. A wrestling poster has already been created and printed while a Gymnastics poster has been designed and will be going to a printer in late 2015. We have created two videos on YouTube promoting wrestling and gymnastics. The IISOH web site has been re-designed and will be up in October 2015. The fund-raising campaign is called the MILLION DONOR PROJECT and is designed to get one million people to make a single, once-in-a-lifetime donation to the IISOH of just $25.00 (twenty-five Dollars). With an endowment of $25 million to support the administration of the IISOH there will never be a need to go back to donors for a second request - we prefer to work on our mission than spend time fund-raising. However our landlord bailed out on us after two years of planning and thus we lost a large department store location that would have generated lots of activity in the community. So we are looking for another location instead.Our project is unique in North America and can be compared to the ancient Library of Alexandria in the respect that we want to collect all the knowledge of the world on sport and related subjects, in every language of the world.
