• The Pittsfield Family YMCA is a cause-driven community service organization which promotes positive values that build a healthy mind, spirit and body. We aim to strengthen communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility by nurturing the potential of every youth and teen, improving the nation's health and well-being, and giving back and providing support to our neighbors. OUR VALUES The Y strives to teach the core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. OUR FOCUS AREASThrough youth development, the Y offers accredited childcare, licensed before- and after-school care at local elementary schools, after-school care at local middle schools, and sports, gymnastics and swim programs. Through healthy living, the Y offers a full fitness facility with the largest indoor swimming pool in Central Berkshire County, state-of-the art cardio- and strength-training equipment, racquetball courts and a basketball court and a wide variety of fitness classes - all included in a membership. Through social responsibility, the Y offers financial assistance, volunteer opportunities, military outreach initiative, and supervised visitation services, to name a few.
