- ABOUT US Visions is a global nonprofit organization serving youth and communities through education. We work to enable students, teachers, schools, and non-governmental organizations to become self-sufficient and capable of participating as leaders in todays society. Based in Los Angeles, California, international volunteers frequently travel to Sri Lanka and India on behalf of the organization to work with youth, to implement projects, and to support local non-profit organizations. Visions is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the U.S.VISIONWe envision a world where all youth, teachers and communities are educated, empowered and uplifted.MISSIONWe seek to change patterns of inequality by supporting educational initiatives for youth affected by poverty and conflict. WHERE WE WORKSince its inception, Visions has undertaken efforts in Sri Lanka, Kenya and India. In order to maximize its impact, Visions is currently focusing its programs in Sri Lanka and Southern India.
