Jurkens vision for DJ Majic quickly became an entrepreneurial gem. DJ Majic began taking over the market as Milwaukees premier mobile disc jockey service, not only gaining popularity among students, but also school administrators. Majic was one of the first companies in Milwaukee having a music video dance package, a feature that still remains extremely popular. Excited by DJ Majics success, Jurken and his high school friends began to brainstorm ways to take DJ Majic to the next level. Through the rental of sound systems and projection services at local high school and churches, Majic began the next phase of its business growth. Jurkens business slowly grew out of his garage into two beautiful 10,000+ square foot facilities in Brookfield, WI with a full-time staff of office staff, production technicians and production managers.
