Aside from Mr. Baker himself, the most important contributor to the agency's service to the Dover community was Archibald Nicholas, Jr. In 1958, Mr. Nicholas brought his newly minted Wharton business degree and his new wife back to his hometown of Dover and joined forces with Mr. Baker to build one of the area's most enduring business success stories. The Henry O. Baker Insurance Group has always prided itself on being a traditional, Main Street community leader, true to its independent roots. Today, the Henry O. Baker Insurance Group employs 29 licensed insurance professionals among its 35 full and part time staff members.
