• My Adult Medical Practice is based upon Advanced Nursing skills; advanced training in traditional medical and nursing sciences and complementary/holistic methods. I see the patient as a whole person instead of merely an assortment of disconnected parts. The physical body is an intricate system every part a specialty in itself; strategically wired to make the whole work is still a mystery. I am committed to lifelong learning to understand the webbing of these systems and their triggers which help uncover the real issues of illness. However thanks to my foundational training as a nurse I also am well versed in the family, cultural and social aspects of illness and health which affect each patient; what may hinder or help them in their journey. I eagerly engage in connection with my patients! It is not uncommon that I may challenge or follow up with them like they were part of my family. For many I may address their emotional and spiritual energy side; which has been well studied by other cultures for over thousands of years. Although this may be outside the traditional Western medical practice it is within what my patients are benefiting from. In order to truly heal I believe that a variety of options need to be available and I take pride in being able to develop my practice and myself to include these choices. In the spirit of being a human being and your Nurse Practitioner provider I believe each patient requires focused attention which includes the whole person; body, emotions, spirit, social and cultural components.
