- Warrior2Citizen (W2C) is an organization built by warriors for warriors. We focus on troops during that critical transition period when they return home from war zones. W2C programs are specifically designed to provide high quality, focused, psychological and spiritual counseling for the warrior and their family in a peaceful setting that will nurture the healing process without outside distractions. Returning veterans have unique transition issues including: moral injury, relocating, finding employment, re-adjusting to family life, re-creating their identity from soldier to civilian and re-establishing many other relationships. W2C believes that those veterans having difficulty making the switch from warrior to citizen are encountering the accumulated effects of stress, induced by the warrior experience and combined with the stress of transition from a combat setting to a civilian lifestyle. Our goals are designed to improve the quality of life for transitioning military veterans and their families.
