OUR PURPOSE:The Idaho Licensed Beverage Association (ILBA) unifies licensed-beverage holders in the state of Idaho.MISSION STATEMENT:To protect and represent the integrity of licensed beverage holders and promote prosperity, growth, and education among its members.PLATFORM:Promote and protect the property rights of licensed beverage retailers.Initiate, promote, and support laws, regulations and rules that preserve and protect the right of responsible on and off premise retailers of beverage alcohol.Encourage and promote closer relations among all entities engaged in the responsible sale of beverage alcohol through effective communications, innovative services, education and training opportunities.Educate the public to a higher level of awareness regarding the scope of the licensed beverage alcohol industry.ILBA BENEFITS:Buying power: Collectively we can establish better prices and discounts on all that we need to operate our establishments. Communication: The ILBA will help you stay informed and up to date by keeping you in touch with legislation going on in the state. The ILBA is presently creating a forum for all operators to communicate online. Sharing of information can only help you increase the profitability of your establishment. The members web page will help you find equipment, deals on supplies, legal advice and discounts on various other services. Decriminalize: We are a $50,000,000 industry for the State of Idaho. We need to be treated like customers not criminals. The ILBA is actively working hard to present its members as industry oriented operators and leaders, and abolish the bar owner stigma of rouge drunkards who need law enforcement to constantly pass out citations to keep them in line.
