• The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Clermont County is to provide quality programs to youth of all backgrounds so that they may develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. In a world that has never seemed more threatening and devoid of promise for a large number of Americas youth, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Clermont County provides a tangible measure of hope. The Club offers young people what they need and want most adults who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves; and interesting, constructive activities that channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits. A youth development strategy that fosters a sense of belonging, competence, usefulness, and influence underlies all Boys & Girl Clubs programs and builds self-confidence and self esteem. Since 1996, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Clermont County has been dedicated to providing quality youth programs and services that will enhance the lives and shape the futures of youth of all backgrounds. Working with over 1500 children annually, the Club continues to strive to meet the ever-growing needs of these young people. The demand is great. We are there every day after school, as well as through the summer, for an average of 200 children each day who need a safe place to learn and grow. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Clermont County run daily after school and summer time programs, Monday through Friday, at three locations: New Richmond, Amelia. and Felicity. Boys & Girls Club members are twice as likely as their peers from similar circumstances to go to college, and five times LESS likely to ever be arrested.
