Athena was founded in 2004 by Richard OBrien, who is the companys President & CEO and sole owner. He has 25 years of professional experience and was formerly a Managing Director with GE Capital Real Estate and CFO/EVP of FelCor Lodging Trust, a public hotel REIT with 160 hotel assets at the time.
