• Lovelane is a non-profit organization located in Lincoln, MA that has a dramatic impact on the physical and cognitive development of children with special needs through its holidstic approach and unique, supportive environment. Specially-trained horses are stabled at the state-of-the art facility which includes an indoor riding arena, sensory trail, outdoor ring, accessible doors, viewing room and therapy room. Instructors are licensed MA riding instructors and certified through PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship). Over 4,400 individualized therapeutic lessons are offered annually to children from over 36 communities throughout the Greater Boston area.Therapeutic riding is a growing discipline and has garnered both recognition and respect from the medical and therapeutic communities for its significant success with a broad range of physical, emotional, developmental and genetic disorders. Lovelane's philosophy centers on an individualized program for children that integrates the joy of riding with a clinical focus on therapeutic gains and an emphasis on the development of the inherent abilities of each child. At Lovelane, children participate in life-changing therapeutic activities.
