• Nuvisan CDS, providing Clinical Development Solutions in Spain since 1989 (formerly as ITEM, Verum, Phoenix Intl., MDS Pharma Services and AAIPharma), is currently a clinical research division within the CRO headquartered in Germany Nuvisan Pharma Services.We are focused on managing local and international trials (I-IV), observational and epidemiological studies, from protocol development thru clinical study report writing, including feasibility/site selection, project mgmt., regulatory submission, site contracts/payments, investigator training, site monitoring and auditing, data mgmt., and statistics, but offering also specialized services as Oncology-specific solutions, in-house First-in-Man trials, bioanalysis, and trial supplies mgmt., carried out by affiliates Nuvisan Oncology and Early Development.From 2005 to 2010 we operated more than 200 studies, managing about 2,750 clinical sites with over 25,000 study subjects in Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Immunology and Respiratory mainly but also Gynecology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Dermatology.We best appreciate our people commitment (in Spain > 60% of the staff has been with us for more than 5 years), and their know-how (with a strong project mgmt. culture among our project managers, CRA leaders and data mgmt. specialists), as well as several supportive systems, as ORACLE®PhaseForward EDC platform InForm, managed internally almost entirely, allowing us to offer EDC services at highly competitive prices.
