• Opportunities Unlimited (OU) is a nationally accredited, non-profit organization rooted in the mission of Maximizing Personal Potential Through Dignified and Purposeful Living. OU provides rehabilitation services for individuals who have a brain injury, a spinal cord injury, or other physical disability, Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) to over 150 individuals with special needs, and vocational services.OUs rehabilitative services include nine residential homes where persons served live. Persons served are encouraged to participate, to the best of their ability, in all areas of residential living and therapies. With the assistance of staff, persons served take part in meal preparation and help with household tasks to move toward their goals of greater independence. OU also provides Home and Community Based Services to children and adults with special needs. These services include skill building and respite services and are offered at the Opportunities Unlimited Center, out in the community, or in the privacy of the individuals home. OU, through its Vocational Department, provides support to individuals in a vocational setting through our certified job coaches. Upon completion of a comprehensive assessment, outcome goals are established and focus is placed on the individual and the programs and services to reach these identified goals.
