- Accion is a nonprofit lending organization headquartered in San Diego with over a 20-year history of working with local small businesses to meet their financing needs. Our loans range from $300 to $75,000 and our flexible requirements mean that we can often make loans that others cant, allowing us to provide expanded opportunity for hardworking business owners seeking to start or grow. We also provide entrepreneurs access to business counseling, training events and other business resources. We work with business owners in San Diego, Imperial, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.Accion is the largest micro- and small-business lending network in the United States with four members and an online loan application that makes financing available to entrepreneurs from coast-to-coast. Since 1991, the members of the Accion U.S. Network have provided more than $350 million in loans to over 45,000 business owners. Globally, Accion is a pioneer in microfinance, reaching millions of individuals through our international network of partners.
